Warrants Exercised, Stock Options Granted and Investor Relations Agreement Renewed

IMPACT Minerals International Inc. is pleased to announce that share purchase warrants exercisable to purchase 2,500,000 of its common shares at a price of $0.165 per share and 500,000 common shares at a price of $0.185 per share as well as broker warrants exercisable to purchase 214,166 common shares at a price of $0.15 per share have all been exercised. The warrants were issued pursuant to a private placement that closed on April 14, 2004 and were exercisable up to April 14, 2005. IMPACT has received proceeds of approximately $537,000 in cash from the exercise of these warrants.

IMPACT also announces that it has granted incentive stock options under its Stock Option Plan to directors, officers, employees and consultants exercisable for up to 710,000 of its common shares on or before April 13, 2010 at an exercise price of $0.42 per share.

Further to IMPACT's news release of November 12, 2004, IMPACT advises it has renewed its engagement of SRW Capital Corp. as its investor relations firm for North America under substantially the same terms as the initial agreement between IMPACT and SRW. The renewal agreement has a term expiring on August 1, 2005 and may be further renewed subject to the agreement of the parties. The stock option exercisable for up to 50,000 shares of IMPACT granted to SRW on November 12, 2004 has been amended to an effective date of January 10, 2005 for a term of two years at an exercise price of $0.31 per share. Except for this stock option, SRW has advised IMPACT that it does not currently hold any other interests in or securities of IMPACT but may acquire securities of IMPACT in the future.
