Name Change Without Consolidation

IMPACT Minerals International Inc. announces that effective on August 17, 2005, IMPACT Minerals has changed its name to "IMPACT Silver Corp." The Company's shares were not consolidated.

The shares of the Company will continue to trade under the Company's current trading symbol of "IPT".
